Compact and cost effective. For not much more than the price of an average AV processor and speakers or two thirds of the cost of the ADM9T + Sub, you can have our powerful and wonderfully clear, three box only, Neutron 2.1 system.

High sound quality. Clarity, especially with speech, and high dynamic range to cope with the very loud passages in music and movie sound tracks makes AVI systems more relaxing to listen to for long periods of time.

Flexible. With lots of digital inputs this system is ideal for connection to DVD players, gaming consoles, iPods, Apple TV, satellite receivers, Sonos and other music only streaming devices etc. Also if a full 5 or 7.1 is required your Neutron system can operate as the front left, right and LFE Sub. More Neutrons can be added to complete the set up.

Better suited. With a generous 100 Watts per channel for the Neutrons and another 100 for the Sub the Neutron Five 2.1 system has more dynamic range than most old fashioned hi fi and so is better suited to the high dynamic range of movie sound tracks and the best music recordings.

Digital perfection. Modern digital sources are capable of incredibly high sound quality, yet this is rarely achieved because speakers and amps don’t come up to scratch. AVI’s are amongst the finest you can buy and so will enhance enjoyment of all your media.

The Neutron Five speakers

AVI has a passion for miniature speakers, properly designed, as are Neutron Five’s; they often give far better results than much larger and more expensive ones. They are also easier to accommodate and cost less because smaller boxes are cheaper. Most of us need or prefer smaller speakers.

In 1994 we introduced the original Neutrons, they were a big improvement on our “Reference” LS3/5A’s and sounded similar. They had very good reviews and sold surprisingly well but we didn't like them so we re-designed them as NuNeutrons. These were improved to become Neutron III’s and eventually, improved again to become the Neutron Five’s. Thanks to almost all the Hi Fi magazines, Neutrons are an established reference and have sold in thousands and continue to do so. Users include small classical record labels, film scoring mixers, broadcasters, composers, critics and thousands of Hi Fi and Music enthusiasts the world over.
